After 20 years I have returned to this struggle blog with a review of COSRX’s Aha 7 Power Liquid. See my struggle review down below.
This comes in a 100 ml clear bottle with a pump.
I bought this for $12.90 USD on Wishtrend.
Pyrus Malus(Apple) Fruit Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycolic Acid, Water, Niacinamide, Sodium Hydroxide, 1,2 – Hexanediol, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Ethyl Hexanediol
I’m going to start this review off by saying that this stuff smells like straight up shit. It smells like oven baked ass and rotten eggs. Not a pleasant way to start off this review, I know. Just like the BHA liquid, it is a bit thicker than water and it is easy to spread around. It also dries very fast which allows me to move to the next step of my routine. This product claims to reduce sebum and whiteheads, and brighten the skin. I didn’t notice any reduction of sebum, which isn’t really surprising due to the fact that my forehead looks like chicken grease within five minutes. The amount of whiteheads reduced a bit, but I still got the occasional cystic pimple. I was happy that my hyperpigmentation seemed to fade a bit after about two weeks of using this.
COSRX Aha 7 Whitehead Power Liquid isn’t a holy grail for me, but it isn’t necessarily horrible either.Honestly, using this wasn’t really worth it and the fact that it smells like ass makes my purchase less than satisfactory. I find this to be an okay product, and I will be looking for other AHAs to use once this one runs out. This product will be receiving a 3.5/5 stars.
